Intrepid Izzy is a new game for the beloved Sega Dreamcast console.

Yup that’s right, we’re still getting new games for the Dreamcast in 2022. This one comes from the Senile Team who also created the popular Beats of Rage.

You can enjoy the full new game experience when you pick up a copy, as it’s fully packaged in a nicely designed case with a professionally produced disc.

There’s something extremely satisfying about tearing open the wrapper of a brand new Dreamcast game so many years after the console has been abandoned by Sega.

OK so the packaging looks the part, but what about the game itself?

I’ve only played about 30 minutes of it so far, however first impressions are good.

It’s got a silky smooth animation and the character movement feels tight and responsive.

The graphical style is bright and colourful, with enjoyably vibrant music to accompany the experience.

Everything I’ve heard about this game is pretty positive, so I’m looking forward to spending more time with Izzy.
